Always measure the opening before deciding which Safety Gate you are going to purchase! Chelsea Xtra-Tall Auto-Close Security Gates are suitable for doorways and hallways sized 71-82cm (28-32"). With optional extensions, they can fit openings up to 4.82m (189.5"). Extensions are easily attached to the gate before installation.

High Quality Amazing GateWe purchased this gate a month ago to replace another shorter gate (different brand) and so wish we had just gone with this one from the start! We have a very large 8 month old german shepherd puppy and he was able to push and eventually just jump over the other 750mm tall gate we had, but this one has really made our hallway a fortress. He doesn't even try to get over it. Very impressed with the quality of this gate compared to the other one as well; it is very heavy duty and has not moved at all since we installed it, but also has not left any marks on the wall and could be easily removed when we don't need it anymore. No need to tighten or shimmy it around, it's very secure, yet also so easy to open and close. This is definite value for money and I would highly recommend to anyone for pets or children.

Very good practical optionJust bought this for one area of our ouse and easy installation, like it so much we are now purchasing 11 more for various locations in our two homes which will keep our little baby very safe and will allow us to continue with our same lifestyle particularly being able to keep outdoor doors open for fresh air and using the Chelsea security gate to avoid our child from wandering away.

Perfect for our grandchildren and dogsBrought two of these yesterday and have installed the first one in our kitchen doorway with no problems at all and will be perfect for keeping our grandchildren and or dogs safely in or out of the kitchen. The second requires gate extensions so will be picking those up today and write a review but based on the ease of this gate, not expecting any problems with install and use.

Tall, safe and easy!I love that I can leave the back door open without having to worry so much that my girl is going to escape. The fact it’s extra tall is even better as it’s perfect for a growing child! Whether you use this in your hall, your kitchen or bedroom, it’s a gate you definitely won’t regret getting.

Excellent GateVery happy with my first purchase which was delivered in ample time, not happy with Post Haste who have had my 2nd lot of gates since 2nd February in transit and now it's 10th of February . Think you should change courier company's.

Awesome xtra tall self close gate in black.Bought to give two elderly dogs space from a very large exuberant American Bulldog Pup.
Works brilliantly. Equally as useful when they need space from the grandchildren too... Blends with our decor - better still.

Excellent gates for stairwell 97cmPurchased two of these gates for both upstairs & downstairs, very sturdy pressure mounted didn’t need to use screws thankfully because it’s a rented property. Gates work well, open both ways

no bending to openWe bought the gate and extensions for a ranch slider area and it works great. Nice and tall so you don't have to bend to open and also good for both the dogs and the baby.
How many centimeters/inches is it between each of the bars? It's to separate my cats and I don't want them to squeeze through.

We’re looking at an extra tall Chelsea gate (100cm) but our width of the hall is 92cm. What is my best option please.. I’m a little confused what extension would work?
